Fused Glass Wave Panel Class
Create a beautiful free-standing fused glass wave panel in this hands-on beginner class! Using System 96 compatible glass, you’ll design your wave on a 6" x 12" rectangular base using a variety of colourful fusing materials.
You’ll have the opportunity to experiment with scrap glass, frit, stringers, rods, murrine, handmade glass elements, and other fusing materials to build movement, texture, and dimension into your design.
This project is fired twice in the kiln. During the first firing, your glass pieces are fused together to create one solid panel. In the second firing, the fused panel is carefully fired over a wave-shaped form, allowing the glass to take on its flowing, curved shape.
The finished piece is designed to stand on a shelf, mantel, or other display area, making it a beautiful piece of glass art for your home.
No previous fused glass experience is required!

We offer a variety of classes at all skill levels. Most of our offerings are beginner friendly, but those intended to develop existing skills are clearly labelled as "intermediate" or "advanced". Not sure what's right for you? Give us a call!
Classes include all materials, kiln firing, and project specific hardware. You'll be provided with everything you need to complete your project!
Closed toe shoes are a must for all activities in the studio space. While we do have aprons on hand, clothing that you're comfortable getting a little dirty and dusty is always recommended.
