Sunset Panel — Beginner Stained Glass Class
Create a beautiful Sunset stained glass panel while learning the essential techniques of the copper foil method. This project-based class is perfect for beginners who want to learn by creating a finished piece.
You’ll be guided step-by-step through pattern preparation, choosing and cutting glass, grinding and shaping each piece, fitting the panel, applying copper foil, and soldering. You’ll also learn how to create smooth, even solder lines, and properly finish your completed panel.
Throughout the class, our instructors will provide hands-on guidance and helpful tips to build your confidence with stained glass tools, techniques, and safety practices.
No previous stained glass experience is required. All you need is an interest in learning and creating something beautiful!

We offer a variety of classes at all skill levels. Most of our offerings are beginner friendly, but those intended to develop existing skills are clearly labelled as "intermediate" or "advanced". Not sure what's right for you? Give us a call!
Classes include all materials, kiln firing, and project specific hardware. You'll be provided with everything you need to complete your project!
Closed toe shoes are a must for all activities in the studio space. While we do have aprons on hand, clothing that you're comfortable getting a little dirty and dusty is always recommended.
