Cathedral Window Panel — Beginner Stained Glass Class
Learn the art of stained glass while creating your own Cathedral Window panel. This hands-on class introduces you to the copper foil method of stained glass while allowing you to focus on completing a specific design.
You’ll learn how to prepare your pattern, cut and grind glass, carefully fit your pieces to a frame, apply copper foil, and solder your panel together. Along the way, you’ll gain experience with the tools, materials, safety practices, and techniques needed to create a strong and polished finished piece.
Our instructors will guide you through each stage of the project, offering tips and assistance to help you achieve clean cuts, accurate fitting, and neat solder work.
This class makes for a great next step after taking our Suncatcher Class, however no previous stained glass experience is required. Come ready to learn the process and create your own beautiful Cathedral Window!

We offer a variety of classes at all skill levels. Most of our offerings are beginner friendly, but those intended to develop existing skills are clearly labelled as "intermediate" or "advanced". Not sure what's right for you? Give us a call!
Classes include all materials, kiln firing, and project specific hardware. You'll be provided with everything you need to complete your project!
Closed toe shoes are a must for all activities in the studio space. While we do have aprons on hand, clothing that you're comfortable getting a little dirty and dusty is always recommended.
